How to make a DIY sheet mask with Hydrapuff?

Posted on

Korean sheet masks are one of the most popular Asian skincare trends which became quickly popular and adorn around the world because of their in-home spa feel and instantly smoother, brightener, and more hydrating appearance. However, sheet masks come with a pre-soaked formula, which means most of them are designed to target certain skin conditions, leaving no space for customising the mask to your particular skin type or need. They can be pricey too.

Okay, so what are the good news? Getting that beautiful and glowing skin and a spa retreat has never been easier or more cost-effective since you can create your own home-made face mask with just a few simple ingredients and an Hydrapuff.

To make your own DIY sheet mask it's important to mix liquids such as rose water or jojoba oil with more solid-liquid ingredients such as moisturisers, honey or gels. Next, dip Hydrapuff into a well-blended mixture and leave to soak in few seconds. Let the excess liquid drain out, however, don't wring it. Gently apply sheets to the desired area of your clean skin. Relax for 10-15 minutes before removing.

Simple steps:

1. Mix all ingredients (oils, serums & moisturisers)
2. Soak Hydrapuff in the mixture
3. Apply on your face where needed
4. Leave for 10-15 min
If you are looking for a quick hydration boost, mix few drops of unrefined jojoba oil with a light moisturiser such as Madecassoside Cream. Jojoba oil is suitable for all skin types and will get you instant soothing and moisturising results.

Dealing with oily skin? Again, mix a few drops of tea tree oil with aloe vera gel a soak Hydrapuff sheets in a mixture. Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and has an anti-inflammatory effect, while aloe vera, on the other side, helps to absorb excess oil, sebum, and dirt which makes the two a perfect choice for both acne-prone or oily skin.
Coconut oil is an excellent natural moisturiser that can be used to treat several skin problems such as acne. Mixed with organic honey, it can be used to treat redness, acne, and scars.
Rose water is one of the most desired brightening and soothing skincare ingredients which helps with inflammation and irritation. Add a few drops of rose water to blended cucumber and blend everything together until smooth. Add aloe vera gel for an extra calming effect.
Remember, healthy skin is happy skin!
